I just wanted to share one of my favorite quotes of all time...
If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together...there is something you must always remember, You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seems and smarter than you think, but the most important thing is even if we're apart...I'll always be with you. Christopher Robin from Winnie the Pooh

Cerah Elizabeth Powell
So all of you should know that I went to New Mexico for a couple of weeks...Well, this is the reason...My daughter by my bff, Cerah Elizabeth, was born on August 2, 2010 at 1:34 p.m. and weighed 6.2 lbs and was 19 inches long...she is one of the most beautiful girls I have seen in this world and I get to claim her as mine...I appreciate Coco for allowing me to be such a big part of her life...
The top picture shows all of children from a different mother or god children, which ever you prefer...Shjan, Kristofer, and Cerah...I love you all so much...
The Hommies
Well, here are the Hommies from Kerrville, Texas...these guys were so nice they included me in the group and made me a part of their family...These guys are the coolest, there is just no other way to decribe them...Blake and Andy taught me how to beer pong, and I think, if I remember correctly, I won, right?
The top picture has me, Shohn, Blake and my nephew, Austin in the back row, and Dont know his name, Jesse, Andy, that is my Bubba, and Whitney in the front row...Hopefully, I got all the names right!
The bottom picture has Andy, standing in the back, then you have Nick, Jenna, Blake, Josh and Jesse from left to right...
I can't wait to get back to Kerrville to show of my ponging skills, and see who I can waste doing so...Love you all...

First Day of First Grade
He has the same teacher as he had last year, which is good, he doesn't have to get used to a new teacher...However, we do have an IEP meeting on the 26th of August to go over the plan for the up coming year, update to come later...
Colin and I have had a great start of being alone during the day...We keep ourselves busy, with house work, coloring and watching Mickey Mouse Club and of course my favorite, Phineas and Ferb...
Summer Vacation
OK, so it has been awhile since I posted to my blog...I have just been super busy this summer and wish to share...
We signed Aaron up for karate in May and now he attends that twice a week. So the month of June we spent out time at the library, park and other extracurricular activities. On June 26, I picked up my three nephews from Baton Rouge, and spent about three weeks with them. We took them to the library, park, went to the Little White House in Warm Springs, Georgia, Naval Museum, National Infantry Museum (which is free and totally awesome), went to the Coca-Cola Space Center in Columbus, Georgia, James took the older boys to Six Flags over Georgia, and to the Atlanta Aquarium...I just hope they had fun and great time...We sure enjoyed them being here...I love you, Austin, Jacob and Zacharey...
On the return of my nephews, we stayed with my Aunt and Uncle in San Antonio for a couple of days, then headed to New Mexico to visit family and friends...My mom and dad kept Aaron and Colin for me, while I spent the time with my best friend, Co-Co, until she had our daughter, Cerah. Well, Cerah wasn't born until August 2, 2010, so I literally spent my vacation with my best friend...which was totally awesome, it gave my boys and my mom and dad a chance to bond. Aaron and Colin had a great time and Mom did a great job keeping them entertained.
While staying with my best friend, Co-Co, I was able to Mommy Carol, Justin and Darryl (her mom and brothers), it brings back childhood memories when I am with them. We had some great times growing up. I was able to bond with her two sons, Shjan and Kristofer, which are my biggest fans, and share my desire for the Twilight seriers as much as I do. I love you boys so much. Shjan took three hours of his day to make me a Twilight collage, and I love it, it is so precious. Kritters is a video game genius, and I must remember not to play Wii with him, until I have had time to practice before hand. Team Twilight, All the Way!
I then left New Mexico to head back to San Antonio for a pit stop on August 4, 2010, spent a couple days with my Aunt and Uncle and my brother, Andy, then headed back home on August 6, 2010. I was able to make new friends that my brother introduced me to, Blake, Jesse and Josh, etc. It was my pleasure to hang out with this crew, and I was able to learn to play beer pong, leave it to my brother to teach me a drinking game. What a great game.
Finally, the trip home. It is a fifteen (15) hour drive from San Antonio, and was very long, but the short of it I am glad to be home, but I really want to go back to my family and friends...I miss ya'll so much...Torn between two worlds of me...

Sierra Jayde
Here is the newest member of our Family. Sierra Jayde was born February 25, 2010, and now weighs 10lbs. She is a basset hound and is now a part of the McDaniels' family. She is so cute and adorable there are not any words to describe it. She was adopted May 10, 2010, and currently is at the vets office being treated for kennel cough, but she will be home soon. I cannot wait until all of you can meet her, she is so precious. Her eyes just made me want her so much, so here is to my new "daughter", Sierra Jayde.

Colin's Busted Head
Went in for Aaron's routine dental check up, and Colin is sent to the pediatrician for stitches. While filling out the necessary paperwork for the dentist office, Colin is walking around, minding his own business, trips over his own feet and falls right into the corner of the chair. When I heard the crash, I knew immediately that it was my son, he comes around the corner, blood dripping from his head. The nurses were there on the spot to help me and took him back to take care of him. I really appreciate the staff and Dr. Lawrence for all they did to help Colin. Dr. Lawrence talked to one of our pediatricians and we were sent over to their office for another look, and that is when they decided to put in a couple of stitches. This is just one of many to come...

From play to sleep
The key to having a good nights rest is to wear their tushes out before bedtime, it was such a beautiful day, let the boys play outside with Angel and they then showed how it can wear a person out just to get a little ray of sunshine. I am so blessed to have such wonderful sons, they light up my day...even when I am furious, they still make me laugh somehow. The McDaniels' boys really know how to sleep, they look so peaceful, and yet so uncomfortable, but atleast they are consistent. They have always been crazy sleepers.
I look at the pictures of play and realize that Colin seems to be unclothed all the time, just like my baby sister was when she was that age, and I also see that I let him dress himself as his underwear are backwards, and it turns my frown upside down to see that.
Looking at Aaron, I remember when he was a baby and such a big baby at that, that now he is a big boy, getting taller and skinner by the minute.
Wow, it is truly amazing what joy they can bring to you when you sit back and watch them, if one for a minute.

Emeril? Bobby Flay? Alton Brown?
Colin cookin' his Lobster Bisque
No, it's CAM. He has taken a strong interest in cooking. Already this morning we have had Lobster Bisque, Snake, Amaradillo, and Chicken and broccoli with a white sauce. Don't worry there was no cross contamination, as he has impeccable hygiene, Executive Chef CAM has washed his hands at least fifty times and washed his knife after every use. Daddy eventually was appointed the Sous Chef, taking every command from Chef CAM, and proceeded with caution as he didn't cut the onions correctly and was sternly reprimanded. We look forward to new and amazing recipes from our little chef of the McDaniels' clan.

Baseball with Colin
It is a wonderful feeling to be able to spend time with your youngest child and not have to worry bout anything else...spending time with him and our dog, Angel was so enjoyable, Angel was determined to help with catching the ball, she just wanted to be part of all the fun, memorable times. Can't wait until Aaron arrives home to play some with him too. On another note, we have signed him up again for Challengers Little League...so excited for him to be part of team and to participate is this wonderful league.

Kid's Say the Darnedest Things
Colin brought me a toy the other day, he says "Mom, the toy is broken, its all screwed up."
Aaron was playing his Monsters game, it where he can create different monsters, I was interested in what he was doing, he was using some of the templates the game offers, I told him that he could create is own, he informs me that "I know that Mom, I am customizing my own."
I was cleaning the boys room today and Colin was trying to help, but he decided to go tell Daddy that "Mommy is bothering me and won't listen to me."
It is truly amazing what will come out of the mouths of children when you really give them a chance to express themselves.

More Fashion
It is a true statement when I say that you never know what will come of the McDaniels' boys. They sure are one of kind each of them...We allow our boys independence to get theirselves dressed even if it is for dinner. So when mom went out to hang with her friends, Dad decided to take the boys to eat and here is what Aaron wore to dinner...

Getting Started
Letting your child express himself is obiviously one of the joys of motherhood. Allowing your child to get ready by himself, you actually get to see the true colors come out in him. So our fashion today is mixed matched pajamas, with horizon and vertical stripes. I would have never thought of that one on my own, I think this could catch on and become a trend. Don't you?
